Anne Hathaway Pastille Burner

Situated at Shottery, outside Stratford upon-Avon, this half-timbered, thatched cottage was the home of Anne Hathaway before her marriage to William Shakespeare. The outside of the building and the attractive cottage garden are one of the most photographed sites in Britain. Hazle has re-created the tradition of pastille burners, which started in Elizabethan times with this carefully modelled, hand-painted and signed piece.

Marygreen Manor Pastille Burner

Marygreen Manor is a fine example of early Sixteen Century architecture and was initially the home of Henry Roper, gentleman servant to Catherine of Aragon. In 1535, Robert Wright, son of a local nobleman, took up residence and named the house his "Manor of Marygreen" after his young bride. This beautiful house is now a privately owned four-star hotel with an excelent reputation for good food and friendly service.
