One of the most life-changing occasions was the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Television had only just been introduced and thousand of people bought or crowded round friend tiny televisions to watch this historic event. As such it had to form part of our Hazle 2000 collection celebrating the High Street icons of the C20th

Crystal Clear in Upminster was on of those pioneering TV shops & here we see a family gathered outside to watch the Coronation through the shop window.

This, in itself is an historic piece, being only the 2nd cast off the Master Mould, pre-production trial & painted, of course, by Hazle, as she worked out how best to present the edition.
