The Year of the Tiger – Tiger Travel is painted by Michele on our Hay on Wye Bookshop building.

The Chinese Lunar Calendar names each of the twelve years after an animal. It is said that the animal ruling the year in which a person is born has a profound influence on personality. Those born in a Tiger year are said to be lively, engaging, vivid, lucky in life, and as brave as a tiger!

Tiger years include 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986,1998, 2010, & this year “2022”
